Vladimir is an actor, dancer, musician, writer and the artistic director of Zocalo Toronto. Under the Zocalo Toronto umbrella, Vladimir has written and produced two stage shows: The Weeping Salsa and Flin Flonning. ZoTo will be showcasing Vlad’s third play, Samkon and Francis Go Swimming, in the 2012 Fringe Festival of Toronto.
Vladimir’s recent acting for stage credits include The Weeping Salsa, Sara’s Cave at the Brampton Heritage Centre and Flin Flonning. Recent dancing for stage credits include Shagara Moon’s middle eastern dance/ballet fusion The Red Shoes, and ifreestyle’s 6th Anniversary Production. Recent screen credits include Against The Wall, King and Lost Girl. Vladimir graduated from the Ryerson Theatre program in 1995.
Also a musician and singer, Vladimir composed and recorded original music for The Weeping Salsa and Flin Flonning, fronted his own pop band M Baby as well as played drums for roots rock group Deep In The Ninth.
